So it's almost a year since last I blogged on here. It was my intention to follow the World Cup on this blog and lot's of other things,k but hey, life takes hold and you find yourself chasing time every where you go.
That said, here I am again and after just reading my first three posts, we find ourselves in almost the identical position. hoping that others around us lose and that we can get some wins against the people 'we should be beating'!!!
If we do stave off relegation again, it will be nothing short of a miracle as we looked dead and buried with a team (other than Parker and Noble) who didn't care. Enter Hitz and Ba.
What a difference these two have made to the cause. it's remarkable that we have beaten three teams in the first three games that Hitz is back. I was there for the Burnley game and he well deserved the man of the match award. At last a player who can at least get close to Scotty in running for Hammer of the Month awards! As for Ba, he has been a revelation. Scoring twice against the baggies, once against Liverpool and again against Stoke.
The team are now looking like they can take on anyone, and they will have to give it a go for the rest of the season with three of the last years top four still to play and of cause the old enemy, Bolton!!!
We're scoring goals for fun and long may it continue!!!
